Dear Community Supporter:

You are invited to participate as our event partner for the Making Connections IV, an initiative to organize African-American organizations, businesses and leaders within the East Bay to create timely solutions for growth, sustainability and prosperity.  The fourth convening of Making Connection will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9am – 3pm at Laney College, Oakland, CA.

Leveraging on the successes of the first three “Making Connections” collectively engaging over 1,500 attendees, this year’s goal is to not only exceed past attendance records, but to activate attendees to take action around issues on health, education, public safety and economic development.

Plenary sessions, interactive workshops, exhibitors all designed to create an environment of learning, sharing and activism.  Participants will be encouraged to delve and offer solutions and hear from funders, policy makers, system leaders and impacted individuals.

We have a myriad of opportunities for community organizations, businesses and local corporations to get involved as event conveners, sponsors and/or exhibitors.

We are hopeful of your partnership to support our efforts to engage and link the greater African-American community of organizations, businesses and leaders within the East Bay Area.
